Communication, Language and Literacy - In the jungle

Adult:
... and I can think of one more animal that lives in the jungle...
Child 1:
Fish!
Adult:
... that lives in the water.
Child 2:
Fish!
Adult:
It's not a fish. Something else that goes... [makes clamping motion with arms.]
Child 2:
Crocodile!
Adult:
And what sound does a crocodile make?
Child 3:
Snap, snap.
Adult:
Snap, snap, snap! Are we ready then? We're going to go [sings and does actions] walking through the jungle, walking through the jungle, what do you see, what do you see? If you hear a noise, sh, sh, sh. What could it be?
Child 4:
Crocodile.
Adult:
[still singing] What could it be? Think it was a crocodile, snap, snap, snap. Think it was a crocodile, snap, snap, snap. Think it was a crocodile, snap, snap, snap. Looking for his tea. Looking straight at me. Run Django, quick, quick, quick. Right, now we're home and we're nice and safe.
