Physical Development - Playing outdoors

Adult:
A speedboat? Right, hold on then. Off we go.
Child 1:
Toothpaste.
Adult:
It's the baby's toothpaste, isn't it?
Child 2:
We've all got a factory tool [inaudible].
Adult:
Have we?
Adult:
Woah, it's a bit choppy out here today, isn't it, Bill? Steer the boat.
Child 3:
[inaudible] … what I've got.
Adult:
You've got one too, have you? Is yours a speedboat?
Child 3:
Yes.
Adult:
Right.
Child 3:
[inaudible]
Adult:
Oh, right. Makes it into a submarine, if it goes under water, doesn't it?
Child 3:
[inaudible]
Child 4:
Mine turns into a submarine.
Child 3:
[inaudible]
Adult:
[laughs] Billie's turns into a submarine as well, doesn't it, Bill? But we don't want to go under sea, under the water at the moment, do we? No. All right, Emma? Do you want to go on Billie's boat? Can Emma come on, please, Billie? Squeeze in the middle, then. Put your leg over. Right, hold on, because it's a fast boat, isn't it, Billie? [boat noises] You're coming on as well? Right, is there room for Lauren?
Child 5:
No.
Adult:
Can Lauren come on, Billie? I think she can just squeeze on if Mrs Harris moves backwards. On you get, Lauren. Right, press the button then, Bill. Let's go Turbo Speed! Is it going? Hold on, Lauren, it's fast. [boat noises]
Child 5:
[inaudible]
Adult:
Right, when we're in really deep bits we'll turn into a submarine. Are you ready for that? Yes?
Child 6:
Get the cover, Will?
Adult:
Get the cover for us, then. Are we going really fast yet, Bill? Are we in the really deep water?
