CLLD resources
The CLLD programme builds on the success of the early reading development pilot through targeted work in identified schools and linked settings, consultant support for schools and settings, cluster meetings for teachers and practitioners and tracking children's progress in CLL and PSED.
It builds greater quality and capacity in the teaching of early literacy through:
- developing work on speaking and listening
- strengthening leadership and management of early literacy
- supporting all schools with phonics and early reading
