the country have different approaches to parental involvement. This section
of the site offers some examples of, and case studies on, ways in which
it has been used, and the effects which parental involvement has had.

of the education system and providing vocational guidance for the parents

Sacks projects are an excellent way of encouraging parents and carers
to get involved in developing both their own literacy skills and those
of their children.
- The Garibaldi School has a range of projects dedicated to improving parental involvement, including a community ICT centre.
- Rush Common primary school in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, has a system of parents' surgeries to improve communications between home and school.
