Suffolk LEA Parent Partnership Scheme

Suffolk LEA has Beacon Status for its work on school improvement, and its work on Parent Partnership is one of the reasons why it was recommended for the award. It has produced a series of leaflets for teachers with advice on how to work with parents. The leaflets were based on views collected from parents. Subjects covered include:

• parents and teachers as co-educators
• working with distressed or angry parents
• engaging difficult-to-reach parents
• dealing with feedback from parents.
