What is it?
Pupil Progress Meetings (PPMs) evolved out of the Intensifying Support Programme pilot in 2003. As the programme was rolled out nationally, feedback from LAs and schools quickly showed them to be a key lever to raising standards and improving quality first teaching. PPMs have now been adopted by many schools outside the programme and various models have emerged nationally.
In 2008, the Intensifying Support Programme was rebadged as the Improving Schools Programme to promote this well-tested model of school improvement to all schools. PPMs are now one of the six core elements of the Improving Schools Programme (ISP).
This elearning module aims to give practical guidance on developing the use of pupil progress meetings in school to support the progress of all learners and strengthen school self evaluation.
Self Study Time: Approx 60 mins Audience: Head teachers, leadership teams, subject leaders, governors, teachers, School Improvement Partners, Local Authority advisers and consultants
