In APP National Curriculum level judgements are made for each AT in mathematics. The assessment guidelines for each AT are organised into a number of AFs based on the National Curriculum programme of study for each mathematics AT. The Primary Framework for mathematics organises learning objectives into strands that also map onto the National Curriculum. Teaching should be planned in relation to learning objectives, not the APP AFs. Combinations of learning objectives work together to provide evidence for certain AFs.
