Inclusion

The Wave 3 mathematics materials aim to enable children who are working at levels significantly below age-related expectations, to secure the mathematical understanding they need to increase their rate of progress. The materials provide a series of short, focused teaching activities that tackle fundamental errors and misconceptions that may be holding them back. The tracking charts and resource materials refer to the objectives in the 1999 Framework for Teaching Mathematics from Reception to Year 6. These resources have been audited against the objectives set out in the seven strands of the electronic framework. They are referenced to the planning units within the five blocks in the corresponding year group to assist with your planning.
