Mathematics subject leader development folder - Spring 2008

The spring term 2008 meeting was devoted exclusively to a whole-day launch of the new Key Stage 3 programme of study. The SLDM introduced collaborative tasks which gave subject leaders a way of working with their department to engage with the new elements of the programme of study and to prioritise their developments as part of a whole school, phased implementation from September 2008 towards first testing in summer 2011.

These launch materials have been incorporated into the Key Stage 3 mathematics planning handbook which is part of Secondary Mathematics Planning Toolkit Summer 2008. This can be obtained from your local authority mathematics consultants.  For more details see the description of the summer 2008 SLDM.
