The Department of Education at Manchester Metropolitan University is currently working with the DfES Early Years and Parents Pilot on ways of improving the language and communication skills in children aged 3 to 5.

The University is looking at this from the perspective of improving the knowledge and practice of those who are working/will be working with children in their early years. To inform this work the University would like to hear from anyone who could make a contribution to the policy by giving examples of good practice and/or materials that they have found successful in working with children in their early years.
